Lawrie Lewis, successful magnate of Blenheim Exhibitions PLC, came down to the French Riviera and those who knew him thought he was retiring. But the creative genius noted the fantastic automobile heritage of the Principality of Monaco, and came up with a stellar idea with Manoj Bairstow ..the world’s first live supercar show with the slogan “SEE IT, DRIVE IT, BUY IT” – Top Marques Monaco. However, that was not the only thing he gave birth to. A couple of eyes were scrutinizing the operations of his son in London, who caught the bug of excitement of managing events.

Maximilian Lewis, Lawrie’s firstborn, now joins forces with his father to bring you Monaco Swim Week along with partners Planet Fashion and O Events.

Lawrie is no stranger to the Monaco events arena. He founded the Blenheim Exhibitions PLC business in 1979 and built it into a large, quoted company before leaving in 1991, then selling his stake to an American publisher. He later returned to the exhibition industry and bought a privately owned company called ITE which he immediately reversed into a quoted shell and put it onto the London Stock Exchange. He sold his shares in 2001 and moved to Monaco where he launched an up market Car Exhibition. This show was launched in 2003 and was named Top Marques Monaco. This event was honoured by the high patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco, and it became an annual event at the Grimaldi Forum at the ports of Monaco and Fontvieille. Those interested in tomorrow’s transport innovations flew in to witness the world’s first live supercar show, “See it, Drive it, Buy it!”. Providing buyers the opportunity to test drive the world’s most luxurious automobiles on the most prestigious Grand Prix circuit on the planet. Over time, the show became synonymous with cutting-edge technology with builders coming from as far as Australia and America, and visitors who stormed in from the four corners of the world, including China. Many manufacturers chose Top-Marques Monaco as a launch platform for their products and inventions. Top Marques also hosted a space dedicated to Haute Horlogerie (collector’s watches), Haute Joaillerie (tailor-made jewellery) as well as incredible superboats. In 2018, Lewis sold the company to Monaco Check-In, one of the most important receptive and event companies in Monaco. Since the first edition, more than eighteen years ago, over a hundred new models have been launched, but the year 2019 broke a record with eight global launches, including the McLaren Grand Tourer and the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera OHMSS, which were unveiled by Prince Albert II during the inauguration.
Celia Evans Co-Founder, Production Director

Celia is the CEO of Planet Fashion TV. She has produced music, television, film and digital media. Celia served on the Film and Entertainment Advisory Board of Miami for four years and was the youngest person to be appointed by the city commissioners to the board. She produced and directed commercials for major brands including; Lamborghini Apparel, Kenworth Trucks, Leading Hotels Of The World, and Lifestyle TV content for International Television Networks including; YR Asia (Singapore), Living UK, Polsat (Poland), RTE, ESO TV (Hungary), ABSCBN, Style (USA) Comcast International, Lifestyle Network, Beach Channel, Fine Living (USA). She produced a Documentary about Japanese wedding planner Yoshi Nojiri that aired in the doc corner of the Cannes Film Festival in 2013. She is the CEO and lead executive producer of Sea Star Media Company, the creators of Planet Fashion TV. Planet Fashion Media produces fashion photo shoots, fashion advertising campaigns, digital and broadcast fashion content and fashion events globally. She was recently awarded the fashion icon award in the city of Miami for advancing the culture of the Miami fashion scene as well as her civic works. Creating content and events with multi-national brands including; the LVMH group, Roberto Cavalli, and Lacoste amongst others, she has produced large-scale fashion events in Milan, Paris, Marrakech, New York, Oslo, London, Cannes, San Francisco and Atlanta… A founding member of Monaco Swim Week, her company, Planet Fashion, produces shows at Miami Swimwear Fashion Week.

Maximilian Lewis Co- Founder, Managing Director
Maximilian was born and raised in Monaco and grew up inside the Top Marques Monaco show. Not only wowed by the fantastic cars, he wanted to know everything about the event. Starting at the bottom, he began interacting very soon as a member of the team of young people who greeted and hosted the many high net worth visitors to the show. One of the Chinese businessmen from Hangtzou was especially impressed by his mild manner and requested him for his visit at many outside events. After Top Marques was sold, he began his entry into the world of finance, mentored by his father. Now as director of The Lewis Family Trust, he is actively perfecting its real estate portfolio. A solicited client to many international hotspots in Europe has resulted in invaluable contacts and inside experience at major European events. Now he is stepping up to the plate with Monaco Swim Week as he begins his debut in the event portfolio of the Principality.
Cindy Sang Co-Founder, Events Director
Cindy originally thought up the concept of bringing the Miami Swim Week concept to Monaco several years ago. She is best known for her work at the Cannes Film Festival, Monaco Grand Prix and The World Economic Forum in Davos, where she organises integral events around the forums.

Cindy is also well-known as a highly skilled connector, offering lucrative opportunities to access her database of ultra-high net-worth individuals and businesses. She successfully sources celebrity endorsements and sponsorship for her events clients and links in other profitable opportunities via venture capitalists and financiers, who are seeking investment opportunities.

Cindy has provided consultancy services for global companies such as Coca Cola, Chopard, Goldman Sachs, Colorcomm, Fashion for Relief, The Female Quotient, Planet Fashion, JP Morgan, Rokstone Entertainment, 18.01 London and Odyssey media, Caprice Holdings, Deutsche Hospitality, Quintessentially, Damiani, De Grisogono, Mishara, Discover Montenegro and Tempus Magazine.
